The Beginning of a Movement: FACE Initiative First's Edition
The FACE Initiative successfully launched its first edition in Akwa Ibom State, equipping out-of-school teens and young adults with the practical skills in filmmaking, acting, content creation and education.
Designed to expand opportunity and unlock creative potential, the program provided hands on training that prepares participants for emerging pathways within the creative industry.
OPENING CEREMONY AND OFFICIAL UNVEILING
The first edition in Akwa Ibom was formally unveiled by the Senior Special Assistant to the State Government on Research and Documentation, reinforcing the program’s relevance and its alignment with broader youth development priorities.
TRAINING SESSIONS
Participants engaged in practical, instructor-led sessions focused on storytelling, performance, and digital content production. The interactive approach strengthened creative confidence while building foundational industry skills.
CLOSING CEREMONY AND AWARD PRESENTATION
The program concluded with a recognition ceremony featuring certificate presentations, grants and awards, celebrating participants’ commitment and successful completion of the training.
